In the United States alone, construction and demolition debris accounts for 30% of all solid waste produced. As such, the Department of Public Health promotes the responsible separation and recycling of construction and demolition (C&D) debris in order to protect the environment.
Midwest Wrecking Company adheres to the highest standards of the City of Chicago’s Construction and Demolition Site Waste Recycling Ordinance, which entails the following:
· Keeping track of the amount of construction and demolition debris that is generated on our project sites in the City of Chicago
· Recycling at least 50% of the recyclable debris that is generated on a construction and demolition job site
· Submitting the required recycling compliance forms to the Department of Public Health at the end of each project, along with proper paperwork from the recycling or waste hauling facility.
With more than 60 years experience in the industry, Midwest Wrecking Company demonstrates how to safely and efficiently separate demolition materials throughout a project. Let us take care of your demolition project and do something good for the environment at the same time.
